We Walk These Streets At Night

Forty-five years ago, a beautiful collision flared up on the streets of Manhattan: an obviously talented photographer met an obviously strange creature who was in a band. Roxanne Lowit wound up capturing a moment that many (myself included) would argue was this group's finest era: Jerry & The Misfits – as she noted on this series of color slides – in September 1979.

Over two dozen color images are presented here, complete in their original Kodak mounts, front and back. These're the kind of artifacts that a fiend needs to see in their entirety; the kind of images that seem familiar in a grainy, black & white sorta way if you're lucky enough to own a copy of their Night of the Living Dead EP.
