Why the Misfits slogged all the way to Toronto for a couple weekday slots remains a bit of a mystery. Attendance proved lackluster, but among one night's modest audience was Paul Till, a professional photographer, who frequented the venue. This book comprises every shot Paul snapped that fateful evening in December 1977, among the earliest Misfits gigs. Looking back, fiends can well imagine the Shock Theatre screen behind the band — awash in B-movie horror spores — insidiously infecting the 'fits as they played, eventually germinating into psycho '78 and their bloodfeasting legacy.
