SLASH vol. II ~ number 01
This first issue from Slash's second year. This September 1978 installment turns up far, far less frequently than most other issues. Features include Dils, Stranglers and Alternative TV and the usual great LA coverage. This is the only issue in the entire Slash run that is not a uniform size which makes its really annoying! Bottom right corner of blank area torn off. Folded once with some wear 'n' tear but complete.

May/June 1979 issue with Rhino 39 interview, Fall interview, coverage of Elks Lodge riot and ads for Middle Class "Out of Vogue" and the Masque. Folded once but stored flat. Some small tears to edge of one page that sticks out a bit more than the others.

LA's punk power trio, the Alley Cats, slink across this June 1979 cover. Highlights include UXA interview, Screamers coverage, lots of live reviews (Avengers, Flyboys, X, Plugz), full page ads for Black Flag "Nervous Breakdown" EP and Germs GI LP. Excellent condition!

SLASH vol. II ~ number 07
Gary Panter's Jimbo hits the cover on this August 1979 issue. Highlights include Germs finishing LP (pic of Darby in studio), Weirdos and Mau Mau's rumble at the Hong Kong Cafe, Nervous Gender interview, X interview and an incredible four-page LA band update. Back cover has a 2" closed tear but the issue is otherwise in excellent condition.

Another fine installment, this time from December 1979, with highlights that include a Germs ad, Vancouver scene report, Wall of Voodoo article and a pic and review of Misfits "Horror Business". Light rumpling from humid storage environment, but overall very good condition.

SLASH vol. III ~ number 03
March 1980 issue with interviews with Monitor, Johnny Rotten, Julian Temple. Full page ads for the Cramps, X and Zed Records. Minor wear to edges but overall in nice shape!

SLUGGO #2
With its over-the-top visuals and off-kilter local coverage, few early punk mags hold a candle to Sluggo. Only six issues published in all, five of them in Austin. Intentionally misleading issue numbering on the cover. Despite saying #3, this is actually issue #2. Gotta love it. The Next, Ramones, Dils and all manner of Austin coverage.

SLUGGO #5
The last issue from 1981 that emerged after a move from Austin to San Francisco. This swan song includes a boardgame Rocky VII , the Game of Industrial Collapse (game pieces intact). Also of note in this 1981 finale: a full-page ad for the Fuck Your Wife "death tape" from a San Antonio outfit calling themselves the Butthole Surfers. Minty condition!

Debut issue of this short-lived (two issues) San Jose rag from late 1982 (or possibly January '83). Interviews with Black Flag, Code of Honor and M.A.D. along with DC, Reno and Midwest coverage. Solid.

STAR complete run
All five impossibly rare issues of this notorious 1973 teen groupie mag. Once the publisher's wife glimpsed an issue, it didn't take long for Petersen to pull the plug on the mag! Some wear to covers (see scans) but overall in very good condition. Plenty of glammy coverage, questionable advice and more!

Short 'n' sweet April 1982 issue of this Dallas based zine with a Bad Brains feature and happenings at the legendary Hot Klub venue.

March 1982 fanzine out of Anaheim, California with exclusive pics of Circle Jerks, Super Heroines and Social Distortion at Al's Bar. There are also five pages dedicated to the Misfits with plenty of photos and some sexy Dinah Cancer shots, too. Sticker shadow on cover but otherwise in excellent condition.

Supremely stupid!
